Adding a Client Zone to your Website
2nd May 2012
Web savvy customers are more than happy to go online for information, in fact when asked most would prefer the speed and convenience of Web based data. It is not surprising, therefore, that more firms are choosing to add a Client Zone or Client log in area to their sites.

We are already used to receiving insurance documents, plane tickets and boarding passes, bank statements and more via email or off the Web. In fact the speed and convenience of online access has become a selling feature. The recent huge increase in stamp prices will only encourage this still further.

The steady push to 'Cloud' technology is gradually making us all more aware of the possibilities of having direct access to information, photos, legal documents, key dates, addresses and so on wherever we are in the World from a desktop computer or a smart phone.

Web based Client Zones are popping-up in increasing numbers; some offering very basic features and others delivering much more. Some firms see the development of client zones and log in areas as a way to encourage customer loyalty by offering a service not offered by their rivals. Why move from one broker to another for a few pounds, as happens now, if you then lose access to your own client zone.

Client Zones and log in areas are not expensive to create, are easy to maintain and really beef-up a site's capability and appeal.
